DIVINE PROVOCATION

DIVINE PROVOCATION

_Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled...Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it._ (John 11:33, 38)
Provocation means to call forth an action or to stir up purposely. John chapter 11 tells us about three siblings Mary, Martha and Lazarus who were beloved of Jesus Christ.

The saddest thing thing happened! One of them- Lazarus got sick. Wow 😳 a friend of the was sick and died eventually. Do you know that you and I do find ourselves in some unfortunate situations and we ask this question ❓ Why me⁉️, with all the prayers to God, with my going to church every day, with my offering and tithes...why am I experiencing failure?

I want to encourage to surrender yourself to Jesus, continue in your good work to God and humans. Let me site examples of the Mary, Martha and Lazarus' surrenderness and  good works:

🌹Mary (Magdalene) had encounter with Jesus, and during this time she was possessed by 7evil spirits. She surrender her life Jesus and Jesus casted out those evil spirit. (Luke 8:2)
🌹Mary Magdalene gave a very expensive gift - the Alabaster Oil -  to Jesus, as she pour it on Jesus' legs she was wiping it with her hair. John 12:3
🌹Mary Magdalene devoted her self to hearing the words of Jesus. She always like listening to Jesus messages. Luke 10:39
🌹Martha also always find something to eat for Jesus. She will cook delicious meal for Jesus to eat whenever He comes to their house. Luke 10:40
👉It is not farfetch, Lazarus also followed suite her sisters no wonder in verse 3, it was said "the one you loved is sick".

DIVINE COMPASSION AND COMFORT

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Compassion is  originating from Latin word compati, literally means to suffer with.  Which implies the Lord Himself is present with you in all your ups and downs! He is identified (empathizing) with you in all situations, He understands all you are passing through and He see you through and you will not be a casualty!

In Yoruba context, Compassion means having "charm/virtue of been pleased with" - ìyọ́nú. This transcended the magical art of demonic elders [ìyọ́nú awon agba], I am speaking to you of Compassion of and from the Lord Almighty [ìyọ́nú Ọlọrun Olodumare].

Another issue is COMFORT. It comes from the Latin word 'comfortare', which means “strengthen greatly.” it means that you're not only due for external help but also, internally you will be strengthened greatly from within from this July henceforth in Jesus name!

I prophesy upon your life from this July henceforth,...

You will be seeing God in all your situations in the name of Jesus!

The divine compassion is terminating the enterprise of demonic elders over your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

You will expressly receive celestial and terrestrial compassion in Jesus name of Jesus Christ!

Beyond sympathy, you will receive empathy, because God will jealously fight and win your battles in the name of Jesus Christ!

You will be comfortable in the name of Jesus!

You're blessed with spiritual and physical comfort in Jesus name!

Your financial and spiritual debts are paid for in Jesus name!

Your marriage is comforted with blessings of children and money in Jesus name!

Your academic failures is comforted with excellent success in Jesus name!

I see the Lord deliberately comforting you in the name of Jesus Christ!

I command the source of your sorrow to dry and water of comfort spring forth in Jesus name!

You are commissioned as the channel compassion and comfort to others in Jesus name!

Be abound in grace in Jesus name!

The HOLY GHOST's Stirring

On the first day of the sixth month,… the prophet named Haggai gave a message from the Eternal One…Do you think the time is right for you to live in secure and lavishly covered homes when My house still lies in a heap of rubble? Think very carefully about your choices...So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people;… Haggai 1:1-15.
The year 2022 is moving gradually to the middle, five good months is gone already-the truth is that, those gone days can never be recalled-because you have already spent them.

The quantity and quality of successes and failures you had in those previous five months are as a result of your decision, you cannot blame it on God because “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” Micah 6:8.

I would like to hurt your pride a little; how much of pleasure you have  had at the expense of you pleasing God? How much money you spent on your personal needs without considering your tithes, offerings and other giving to the church and the needy? How many times did you fast and pray to have communion with God? but instead you went to parties, clubs, parks and watch movies!

With all the pleasures you tried to experience yet that vacuum is not filled; the emptiness in your spirit is not occupied with the right thing; money is flowing in but your actual dreams are not been achieved. However, your renewed agreement and resolution with the Lord can make a big difference.

And the good news is this:

The Holy Ghost is causing a mighty stirring in you and around you. He wants to turn your life UPSIDE-RIGHT.

I can see the Holy Ghost making a major impression on your life right now; the Lord is dealing by the reason of His holy fire with SELF, PERSONAL EGO, PRIDE, WORLDLINESS, SIN, MISFORTUNE and ERRONEOUS DECISION in your life, family and ministry in the name of Jesus.

I can see the mighty hand of the Lord upon you working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose Ephesians 2:13.

The wind of change by the Holy Ghost is blowing and parting your red-sea, scattering your adversaries in the name of Jesus Christ.

I can see a great reconstruction taking place right now in your life; For the Spirit of God is making you and the breath of the Almighty giving life (Job 33:4) to your mortal body; and every dead-virtue in your life is resuscitating right now in Jesus name Romans 8:11.

God is giving you relevant people, covenant destiny helper; and every accuser with evil instigator is terminated in the name of Jesus Christ!

Say: I AM STIRRED BY THE HOLY GHOST! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I prophesy on or before 24th of June 2022 according to the word of the Lord--- …and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God, on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month… Haggai 1:14-15; ---major spiritual renewal and revival that will command divine glory upon your destiny and domain is taking place in the name of Jesus Christ!

THE BIG QUESTIONS FROM THE BOOK OF JOB

If you’re like me, the Bible can sometimes leave you with more questions than answers. The book of Job is one such book. There is something so emotional, so human about Job’s experience of loss, suffering, and questioning. Job, like us, did not have the answers he wanted. For me, every time I read from this book, I walk away feeling outrage, sadness, joy, longing, empty, or full; it’s different each time.

To answer some of the (valid) questions we get from Job, we’ll turn to the Quest Study Bible, a unique tool that’s all about asking and answering tough questions. If the following answers aren’t completely satisfying, we encourage you to use them as a starting point for discussion in your own life.

Remember – God can handle your questions!

Are people just pawns in God’s chess game?
It often seems that people are caught in events beyond their control, manipulated by God or Satan. They may feel forced into situations they would not choose if they were given a chance. While this seems unfair, there is another way—a higher way—to interpret the circumstances of life. We can see them as God-given opportunities to cooperate with his purpose and plans and, by serving him, to fulfill something far more significant than our own schemes ever could. We’re more than pawns in a chess game. We can honor Almighty God by the way we live and die.

Still, many unanswered questions remain. Only God knows why dozens of bystanders had to die in this unfolding drama between Satan and God. We struggle with the fact that some who are righteous have short, tragic lives while others who are wicked enjoy wealth and long life. One thing we can affirm, however: What seems unfair in this life will be made right in eternity. Our problems will be resolved and many of our questions answered.

God has permitted Satan certain freedoms. He is called the prince of this world (John 14:30) and the ruler of the kingdom of the air (Eph. 2:2). Satan can sometimes use the forces of nature, sickness, plagues and wicked people. Though God dealt a fatal blow to Satan through Jesus’ death and resurrection, Satan continues to struggle against God, and will do so until the end (Romans 16:20).

There are two sides to the suffering of the righteous: the earthly and the heavenly. The apostle Paul understood the tension of living in a corrupt world as one controlled by the Spirit. He placed his trust in God and things eternal—God’s justice, mercy and love— not in the temporary things of this world—success, wealth and fame. Paul recognized that our struggle is not against flesh and blood (Eph. 6:12) and took courage in knowing that our citizenship is in heaven (Phil. 3:20).

Is God guilty of neglect?
No. But to those who have hit bottom and feel abandoned, God might appear to be neglectful.

In his despair Job paints a horrifying—and incorrect—picture of God, saying that He afflicts for no reason (9:17), overwhelms people with misery (9:18), destroys both the righteous and the unrighteous indiscriminately (9:22), laughs at the pain of the innocent (9:23) and allows injustice (9:24). Job’s fear of this tyrannical deity could even force him to confess to sins he had not committed (9:20)!

But these are the words of a despondent, discouraged Job. On the whole, Job had a higher view of God than this. The major difference between Job’s view of God and that of his friends was his belief that afflictions in this life come to both the righteous and the unrighteous—that suffering could not always be explained in terms of what one deserved.

Severe and sudden calamity is no more a sign of disfavor with God than sustained prosperity indicates God’s approval and blessing. But in the next life God promises to balance the scales and make right all that has been perverted by sin here on earth. God is not guilty of neglect, but He may allow some suffering to accomplish His greater purposes, often beyond human comprehension.

Is it wrong to be angry with God?
No. The problem comes when legitimate feelings of anger are not handled correctly and lead to inappropriate bitterness and rebellion which sometimes accompany anger. The Bible realistically portrays the frustration and anger of God’s people when things go wrong or when they cannot understand why certain things happen. This was the reason for Job’s anger. Not only did he feel he was being treated unjustly by God, but he could get no explanation from Him.

Jonah’s anger over Nineveh’s repentance and the death of the shade-giving vine was inappropriate (Jonah 4). Twice the Lord questioned him, Have you any right to be angry? (Jonah 4:4, 9). The prophet Jeremiah grew angry with God because of his persecution and the lack of response to his preaching. But he went too far when he accused God of lying (Jer. 15:18). Immediately, God told him to repent and stop uttering foolish words (15:19).

Ultimately, that is where Job ended up. Though his suffering caused many questions and anguish, he went too far when he insisted that he had a right to an explanation. In the end, God spoke to Job and set him straight: God had the right to question Job, not the other way around (38:1–3). Job realized he had been arrogant and that his anger was unjustified. When confronted by the awesomeness of God, Job repented (42:6).

Is God responsible for what Satan does?
God permitted Satan to attack Job, so in that sense God was responsible (1:12; 2:6). But God is not morally responsible for Satan’s wickedness. Since the Bible teaches that God is holy (Lev. 11:45) and righteous in all His ways (Psalm 145:17), we know He does not devise evil (James 1:13–15). He cannot be made a scapegoat for Satan’s destructive activities.

Satan is the great liar who chose to defy God and was banished from God’s presence with the other fallen angels (Luke 10:18). Satan is called the prince of this world (John 12:31). Christ’s entrance onto the stage of human history was the long-promised part of God’s plan to redeem the world from his tyranny. Satan’s final judgment awaits the return of Christ and the consummation of the age when Satan is cast into the abyss (Rev. 20:10).

Tracing evil back to God has been much debated throughout the centuries. Theologically, we know that God is holy and reigns supreme, yet Satan has limited power within the parameters of God’s sovereignty. Evil in no way can be traced back to God in terms of culpability for it. Although God knows good and evil (Gen. 3:22), He is good (Psalm 100:5) and is good to all (Psalm 145:9); He takes no pleasure in evil (Psalm 5:4).

Why did testing come to Job?
Why believers undergo prolonged and difficult suffering has no one, simple explanation. But the Bible offers several reasons.

First, testing strengthens our character. James says, the testing of your faith develops perseverance (James 1:2–3). Painful situations produce character the same way regular exercise builds muscle tone.

Peter adds that testing proves our faith is genuine (1 Peter 1:7). When the heat is on, who we actually are, and what we truly believe are revealed. He also suggests that this tested faith gives honor to God. Remaining faithful despite prolonged agony testifies to others how much we value God.

Job notes that testing can get rid of unrefined qualities in our lives (23:10). Much the way a blast furnace brings out impurities in metals, testing removes sinful attitudes in us, and we come forth as gold.

The writer of Hebrews (12:6–8) says that testing proves believers are God’s children. Every wise parent disciplines a child, in love, to help the child develop. When God brings testing, it reminds us that we are his children.

Why did testing come to Job? Job never realized that God allowed it because he was pleased with him: Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him (1:8). There may be no reason behind our testing other than that God is pleased with us. He may want to reveal himself to us and others through such testing.

Is life fair? Is God fair?
In a world where there are drive-by shootings, child abuse, terrorism and other indescribable forms of evil, it is difficult to speak of life being fair. It seems that too often good people go unrewarded, and evil people go unpunished.

Is God fair? Absolutely. The justice of God is a theme that threads itself throughout the Old and New Testaments. At times, God punished evil people moments after they carried out their schemes. Good people were rewarded with prosperity and health. But these occurrences seem to be more the exception than the rule. How can we maintain that God is just in a world so full of injustice?

Justice delayed is still justice. We recognize this in our court systems, where crimes are often punished years after they are committed and medals of honor are awarded decades after a war. God promises that no evil will go unpunished; no good act will go unrewarded. As Solomon said, God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil (Eccl. 12:14). If there is anything we can count on, it’s God’s justice. Waiting for it to come, however, can at times seem unbearable.

Does God answer Job’s charges?
In all that God says in his speeches (Job 38, 39, 40, 41), he makes no reference to Job’s troubles, or even to the reason why Job was suffering. The book of Job deals with the perplexing question of why there is evil and suffering in the world. Some have argued that the presence of evil proves that God cannot be all-powerful and all-loving at the same time. If God is all-loving, they say, then it’s clear he does not have the power to suppress evil. On the other hand, they say, if God is all-powerful and yet allows evil to run rampant, he cannot be all-loving.

In these divine speeches, God demonstrates that he is all-powerful and all-loving, and leaves the paradox unresolved. He never really answers Job’s charges. But neither does God reverse his original assessment that Job is blameless. In the end, God stands by Job and rebukes his friends, leaving their sentence in the hands of the man they had been accusing. Job then prayed for them after they offered the sacrifices God required and God accepted Job’s prayer. God finally gave Job a degree of vindication, but only after he no longer demanded it.

The Power of Jesus: Slaying the Dragons

The spirit world is real! Evangelist Daniel Kolenda shares his experience preaching at a Gospel Crusade when what the enemy meant for harm

, God intended for good.
There is a battle between good and evil but in 1 John 4:4 we learn that “...He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

It was a warm night in West Africa. The vast crowd in front of me stretched as far as the eye could see. It’s a surreal sight but something that has become as normal to me as a pastor’s church congregation. The air was hazy with an orange hue as our portable stadium lights on the crusade field filtered through a thick veil of dust kicked up by hundreds of thousands of dancing feet and the ever-present harmattan. As usual I was preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. If memory serves me well, I was preaching about the blood of Jesus that night and the power it has to save, heal, and deliver.

A well-known witch doctor in the region was visiting that night. She was famous because it was said that her curses had the ability to kill their victims. I didn’t know all of this at the time, but later the local pastors gave me the details, which they were familiar with. One pastor said that he was personally aware of nearly a dozen people who had died after coming under her curse. As you can imagine, people were terrified of her and her dark arts.

She had come to the service that night not to hear the gospel but to put a curse on me, the evangelist, and to kill me right there on the platform. Now, you might wonder why someone would want to do such a thing to a nice guy like me. But the truth is she was not the first witch doctor to hate us, nor will she be the last. We are bad for their business. Whenever I come into a region where voodoo and animism are practiced, both of which are quite common in West Africa, I confront these demonic systems without hesitation. They bind many people in darkness and fear. Sometimes the locals will not even dare to utter the name of local demonic spirits or curses out of fear that they will come upon them. I defy them with utter contempt. I will often get a list from the local pastors of the names of these spirits and their curses, which are all well known to and held in fear by the people, and I read them aloud from the platform and break their power in Jesus’ name! The people often gasp at first—amazed I didn’t die on the spot. Then they rejoice in freedom as we burn idols, fetishes, amulets, charms, and all witchcraft juju that people want out of their lives and homes.

I tell the people that once they belong to Jesus, they don’t need to be afraid of any demonic curses. Jesus Christ has the power to protect them and to provide whatever they need. Witch doctors go out of business as a result of losing all their clientele to Christianity. In one city the local witch doctor had large stones at his house that were said to have magical powers. People would pay him to stand on those stones and hear what they believed were the voices of their dead ancestors. But after our gospel crusade this witch doctor was angry with us because his stones were no longer “speaking”! I have seen on several occasions how the witch doctors themselves have become Christians and surrendered their juju to be burned, confessing Jesus as Lord!

The woman who came to the meeting to kill me, however, was apparently on another level. Even the pastors acknowledged her power. But I didn’t even know she was in the meeting. I was just preaching Jesus as I always do. She stood off to the right side of the stage, out in front of one of the two massive towers that suspend our line array speakers. She had brought some strange charms to conduct her business. While I was preaching, she began to conjure some curse to hurl against me. Suddenly—and this is when I became aware of her presence—she let out a bloodcurdling scream and fell to the ground. There she lay, writhing like a snake and foaming at the mouth. I ignored her. With a crowd of half a million people or more, I wasn’t about to stop to address one demon. Hundreds of thousands of people were listening to the gospel. I kept preaching. But we have a team trained to address such occurrences. They carried this woman behind the platform to a tent we had set up for deliverance. We call it “The Snake Pit.”

The deliverance team cast the demons out of her, and she came to her right mind and received Jesus as her Savior. Then they brought her to me on the platform, and she shared her story with me as the massive crowd looked on. The people gasped when they saw her, knowing very well who she was. Even the local pastors on the platform seemed uncomfortable. She told me how she had come to kill me. She told me that when she went to put the curse on me, she was suddenly struck to the ground. She told me how the demons had been cast out of her and she was free. Then she told me how she had surrendered her life to Jesus as well because, in her words, “Jesus is more powerful than my witchcraft.”

This is the reality I live in. I often encounter people who are demonized. I have seen things that would give grown men nightmares (and actually have). If you don’t believe demonic spirits are real, I guarantee one trip with me would change your mind. One thing I know for sure. The spirit world is real. Angels are real, and demons are real. God is real, and Satan is real. We are in the midst of a cosmic battle between good and evil that has been going on for millennia and continues to rage all around us. Some people prefer to ignore it and pretend the visible world is all there is, but no Christian is justified in having such a worldview. The Bible is absolutely clear that the spirit world is not only real but even more real than what we can see. The spirit world is where the battle is raging, and all followers of Jesus need to be sober and vigilant.

EL-RACHUM

James 2:13 (NIV) because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment....
